Heaven Can Wait Spay & Neuter Clinic
Heaven Can Wait opened Nevada’s first private, non-profit Spay/Neuter Clinic in June 2009. The goal of their clinic is to provide sterilization to 10,000 – 12,000 high-risk animals that otherwise would have been left to continually have litters in the community. This uncontrolled birth rate is responsible for over 10,000 animals a year being killed at our local shelters simply because they run out of room. Heaven Can Wait recognized that we will never make a positive impact if we simply continue to try to adopt our way out of this problem. The only solution to reduce the numbers that are impounded and ultimately euthanized is to reduce the birth rate.
Their clinic is designed to facilitate efficient, high quality spay/neuter services. The veterinarians, medical and non-medical staff were selected because they are specialized in sterilization services and have demonstrated the compassion and professionalism required in this unique, stressful environment.
Four days a week, they offer low-cost and targeted no-cost spay/neuter. At the time of surgery low-cost vaccines are also available for an additional fee. Eligibility is determined using several factors, including the breed of the animal and the financial situation of the owner. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment or talking with one of their appointment schedulers, please call their scheduling line at 702-655-4800 or email them at [email protected].

Las Vegas Valley Humane Society Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Referral
In Clark County over the last four years more than 85,000 animals were put to death in the four municipal shelters because they were unwanted. Because pet owners allow their animals to have offspring they do not want to keep, there are many more animals than homes to go around. The solution to this dilemma is easy: Be a responsible pet owner and have your pet spayed or neutered today and then spay or neuter a stray!
The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society (LVVHS) offers low cost spay and neuter referrals for cats and dogs, for both owned and stray animals. If you are feeding a stray cat, please contact the LVVHS.
All appointments are made through the LVVHS directly. Call 702-434-2009 or email us at [email protected].
Financial assistance is also available.
