INCREASE LIFE QUALITY
All About Purrs improves the quality of life for cats and caregivers through professional cat care, behavior education, adoption success programs and by giving back to the feline welfare community.
Our Vision
REDUCE REHOMING
All About Purrs reduces the number of cats being rehomed, abandoned, abused and returned to shelters or rescue organizations due to “behavior issues”.
IMPROVE CHOICES
All About Purrs provides caregivers an understanding of why cats behave the way they do, what to expect from cats at various ages and things every caregiver should know before adopting a cat so they can make sound decisions about when, who and where to adopt as well as how to be prepared for success when bringing home that often frightened new friend.
IMPROVE COMMUNICATION
All About Purrs teaches caregivers how to read feline body language which improves communication and the bonding between caregivers and their cats.
MODIFY BEHAVIOR
All About Purrs educates caregivers on how to modify unwanted behavior in cats using the “Think Like A Cat” positive reinforcement approach (by understanding a cat’s motivations, needs and communications).
PROVIDE RESOURCES
All About Purrs offers cat care, behavior solutions and adoption success programs as well as training and informational handouts, online resources, product recommendations and referrals in support of dedicated feline caregivers.
EDUCATE
All About Purrs provides training on cat care and feline behavior to the community and participates in the Animal Kindness Foundation humane education program presented to Nevada’s youth in an effort to increase empathy and compassion for animals and reduce rates of abandonment and abuse.
GIVE BACK
All About Purrs donates time and resources to local feline welfare efforts and those caregivers who have a financial need for assistance with adoption success and cat behavior modification.
